Actress Tawny Kitaen Defers Jail Enters Drug Rehab
for Cocaine
Actress Julie "Tawny" Kitaen was able to defer jail time
by entering a drug rehab program
for cocaine abuse. Kitaen was charged with possessing 15 grams of
cocaine after police responded to a welfare check on her two daughters,
Wynter and Raine at their home in San Juan Capistrano, California.
| Kitaen appeared in Orange
County Superior Court and received a "deferred entry of
judgment" meaning that if she undergoes drug rehab for
the required six months and complies with all treatment plans,
she will then be able to plead not guilty to the charges.
If Kitaen does not comply, she will most likely receive a
three year prison sentence for felony possession of cocaine.
Tawny Kitaen is best known for co-starring in 1984 hit film
"Bachelor Party" with Tom Hanks.

classes in exchange for the dismissal of the charges.
